Melissa & Bob Married! • Corinthian Yacht Club • Essington, PA

Melanie and Bob had an intimate wedding ceremony this past weekend. It was a new venue for me, the Corinthian Yacht Club just south of Philadelphia along the Delaware River. It was a sunny, windy but comfortable day for their outside wedding. After the ceremony we had a chance to walk around and make some photos on the ground. I found the inside really fascinating though as the club has been there for a while. While everyone was enjoying their dinner, I was able to sneak around and make photos of the sailboat hull studies and old nautical antiques.

Avish Parashar at the Federal Reserve • Keynote Speech

I had the pleasure of attending and photographing a new keynote speech by Avish Parashar. I can imagine speeches at the Federal Reserve of Philadelphia are pretty dull and boring, but Avish is a stand up comedian and motivational speaker who had even the most straight faced bankers laughing.

Find out more about Avish here:

Blair & Ridge Married • The Franklin Institute • Philadelphia, PA

Blair and Ridge had an ambitious plan for their wedding day. They got ready at the Four Seasons, met at Logan Square, then took a bus around the city with the bridal party for photos before the wedding. We stopped at South Broad St, Love Park, and the Art Museum before heading back to the Cathedral Basilica of Saint Peter and Paul for the wedding. After the wedding, everyone was lead to the Franklin Institute by a bagpiper. It was a lot of fun seeing the giant heart and the museum and they did a great job lighting and decorating the auditorium where the reception was held. All photos shot for JDN Photography

Amanda & Avish Married in Center City • Arts Ballroom, Philadelphia, PA

Amanda and Avish had a busy few weeks, planning for two weddings. A "normal white person wedding" as Amanda liked to call it, and an awesome traditional Indian wedding in New York the week after. I photographed the "normal wedding" and had a great time with Amanda and Avish. We spent the early afternoon traveling around Center City Philadelphia in a friend's awesome RV. It was a little squished, but we had a great time getting over to the Art Museum and back. The wedding ceremony and reception were at the Arts Ballroom and the beautiful flowers were provided by Nature's Florist. Special thanks to my second photographer Marc Mateo.
