Erich & Steph

This past weekend I shot my good friend and old roommate Erich. Not in the Dick Cheney kind of way, but rather some engagement portraits for them in Chanticleer Gardens. It was a hot, sunny day but we managed to walk all the way around the gardens without breaking into a full sweat. The place is so beautiful, it's hard not to make great photos.

Store front window

I took a trip over to LBI this week to check out my photo of Randy from Indonesia that got used in the store front window. It's giant and right in the front of the building. I'm told that they used it on billboards along 95 as well.

Nick and Jen

I shot Nick and Jenn's wedding with my good friend Jon yesterday. It was a pretty low key event held at the Old Mill Inn in Media, PA. The location was beautiful, and the sun stayed tucked behind the clouds all day - which made for perfect lighting in the courtyard and around the property. Find more on Jon's website - www.jdnphotography.net.

I think I heard one of the guests say the grooms father took over 1,400 pictures. The battery ran out before he ran out of room on the memory card.

Jon does a great job setting up some of the posed shots. I sniped this one from behind the scenes.

Jen made awesome earrings for all the bridesmaids. With a little help from one of them who happens to work as an art director, we set up this shot.

These kids loved taking pictures. They must be related to the grooms father.

Ed & Vicki

One of my co-workers and good friends got married this weekend. They asked if I would fill in and shoot a few photos and I obliged. It was a lot of fun and managed a few shots while still enjoying myself.

Opening Day

The Phillies made 20 fiberglass Phanatics and placed them around town in celebration of the season starting. I passed this one on Saturday while walking around town.

PA State Champs

This past Thursday was the PA State Championships for High School Ice Hockey. Two of our accounts were in the finals (there's three different levels). All three games were played in Mellon Arena in Pittsburgh. This was my first time to Pittsburgh, but I didn't really get to see much of the area. We did get to see just about the entire arena, from the tunnels under the stands and locker rooms to being down on the ice.

Stadium overview

Being in a professional rink, there is advertising all over the boards and even on the ice. It's tough to get a clean shot, especially from down low.
