Wakeboarding w/ JB

This past weekend I got to wakeboard and shoot photos with Keith and some friends of his. Jeff Barton used to be a pro wakeboarder and editor of Wakeboard Magazine when I used to subscribe to it. He was a super cool guy and very gracious host. He has a Malibu with enough weight in it to make a giant wake (and almost get stuck on the sandbar). Brian and Johan were the other riders - who were also super cool and great riders. JB did a giant back roll to revert (I think) off the double up.

Some Randoms

A few from last night. I was out documenting signs advertising the Red Bull Soap Box race with Keith and I snapped off a few interesting shots in 30th St. Station.

Red Bull Night Riders

Randy Townsend

The Venue

Rob Kelly

Lucas Rogers

The Red Bull Night Riders Tow–At contest went down this past Friday night at the Pier at Caesars. They brought in giant stadium lights to illuminate the ocean on the south side of the pier. The surfers were paired into teams of two and got 15 minutes to do their thing. It was a really unique event that was a lot of fun to watch.

Derek's Flowers

I was at work making a few images of potential new products when I noticed Derek had brought in flowers from his garden. Since all the lights were already set up I decided I'm make a few photos of them. – Enjoy

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia

We had some really incredible weather this weekend. It rained like it was going out of style on Sunday, then the sun popped out right as the sun was going down and created this odd light.

Whitney Point, NY / Stock Mod Nationals

I made the drive to Whitney Point, NY for the Stock and Modified Nationals this year. It was great getting to see old friends. I timed my trip just right as they had some problems with weather this year and pushed all the final races back to Saturday. I did miss the A Hydro and Dylan Runne winning both the J classes, but it was really peaceful sitting along the river bank by the first turn shooting photos. I even got a shot of a giant crane that was flying past.
