I was working in my office last weekend, when I noticed this guy sitting outside. He didn't seem to mind me checking him out and didn't even fly away when I took the screen out of the window to take a few photos.

The past few days have been a pretty cool time to be a surf fan. The Eddie Aikau Contest ran in Hawaii and the Pipeline Masters are going off now. The Eddie only runs when the surf is 20-25 ft at Waimea Bay on Oahu's North Shore. The Pipe Masters happens every year, but they're getting pretty good surf and you can watch it live online now. All this has made me nostalgic of my time in Hawaii so I dug up a few photos of big Waimea Bay and Pipeline and posted 'em since I didn't have the blog up and running back then.
